This number and a similar one 0248734847 have called in the name of my Amazon Account saying I had a transaction of 600 pounds made recently and if this was not right I was to hit a number . I did not do so of course. This site has traced the number to Australia. So be warned and don’t be tempted to phone them back .

Have looked at a few complaints sites for this number and most complained about fake Telstra calls. Yet my call today was from a matey Australian type who called me by first name and said he was from some property group. No doubt was going to offer me a "free" dinner like several calls I get. I hung up before he got that far. Do these cold call organisations pass the numbers around when the replies get too hot?
This number keeps calling with a recorded woman's voice claiming to be NBN and advising that my broadband will be cut off that day. So far it hasn't happened. Does NBN even make that type of call?
