NHS SCAM CALLS: LIVE DATA
NHS scam calls have been around for a while now but have picked up in recent times due to the current pandemic.
Previously, scammers would call with any sort of medical-related excuse including an appointment you missed, updating profiles on the database so they need your address or any other form of personal information, or ask you any questions they can to find out your personal details. Recently, scammers have been claiming they are calling from the NHS in regards to your Covid Pass.
You can renew or apply for a new pass by simply paying a small fee on the website they provide. A link will be sent to your phone with a website that looks completely legitimate, where you will be required to pay the fee. The scammers will now have your card details and try to take as much cash out of your account as possible.
