Called claiming to be from Microsoft technical department based in Manchester. Noisy call centre background noise. Obviously a scam.
Rude and abbusive
Caller gave his name as Sean from Windows team. Noisy line, sounded Indian. Told me someone was using my IP address between 4 and 5 this morning. I asked for his number to call back and he hung up. I too have TPS so not sure how this happens

Have had numerous calls from these people who claim to be from Microsoft windows technical department. I've asked them not to call but they keep persisting. They called again today so I just hung up and they called straight back so I blew a raspberry down the phone and they hung up on me!!!!! How rude😂
Another scam call. Why can't something be done to stop this?
I have had 2 calls and answered the one today. An Asian man answered and said he was from Microsoft technical department and it is about my computer, I said "oh no, I'm not interested" and the line went dead.
Dont answer, this man was Asian and got very aggressive when I said I needed to go and kept saying he wouldn't stop calling me if i didn't speak to him. Be safe and don't answer.
Had 4 calls from this number over the last week . Answered it twice to an Asian guy who was very aggressive when I told him he was the problem not my computer ! Called again this morning at 9 am so didn't answer as I recognised the number -will call my provider and get him blocked.

I have been receiving calls from this no for about 5 days now. I have caller ID so have been ignoring it but my boyfriend answered yesterday and he got heavy breathing. He tried ringing the no back which probably wasn't a good idea and he got a message saying no was not recognised. When they rang again this morning, I called the no back and got the speaking clock. If the no rings again which I'm sure it will, I will play along with them in the hopes it stops them ringing.
Well over a dozen calls over the course of a week, most after I had blocked them, so not disturbing me. I have not spoken to anybody as I am not in teh mood for scum-baiting at present. Reported to OffCom, not that I expect them to take action. The number should have been cut off by now. Personally I'd send the SAS in to wipe them out, and I'd pat to watch the video of that!

Numerous calls on my BT land line every day from this number. On the couple of occasions I pick up the phone I just hear laughing at other end and line goes down. What can I do, please?
Yes a well known scam, as soon as the Asian guy said he was from Microsoft I said I haven't got a computer, he didn't say anymore.
Had 8 calls from this number but ignored coz didn't recognise. I will anda the next one and have some fun with them
Called just after 9am today 26/11. When the Asian caller said they were from Microsoft technical I realised it was a scam straight away so I said we did not have any pc's & next thing the line went dead....
Contacted on 26 November about Microsoft Error - scam call. The person told me his name was Lewis and when I asked for a number to call him back on he provided the following number 1444891514.
I have just googled the telephone number so now know it is a scam, thanks for all other comments - 1st call at 9 am on weekend, then another half hour later ...waiting for the next one, they will certainly will regret it....will be advising reported them to the police, bottom line this is a criminal offence
