Unsolicited call on 10th November from 'James' from Policy Experts about policy about to expire on 14th November (oh, really).
When I asked if he could put it in writing he said he was afraid not so I said goodbye.

Unsolicited nuisance call to sick disabled pensioner purporting to sell house insurance, called themselves, Policy Experts. Nuisance experts more like. Rang again when asked not to.
When I said this is the fourth time I've asked you to stop calling this number - please take me off your list , thank you - the guy said 'My name' then I don't like you. I replied it doesn't really bother me, goodbye. Just how do these people get away with this. I've now blocked the number but appear to have other numbers they use.
This number calls me at least 3 times each day usually in the afternoons, if I pick it up no-one is there. If I leave it to ring to the answerphone they just hold on until my answer machine speaks it's message, no spoken message is left just a long buzzing noise.....
If they call once again, I will reach down the phone and choke whoever it is.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will now be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. This explains the silent treatment from any real person (low-lifeform) at the other end. Let the phone ring until the other end gets fed up and ends the call, then dial 1471 and note down the number. Google it to see what scum has tried to get you to allow them to waste your time and stress you out to boot. In my own case a good 95% and more calls are in this category. One day I’m going to live in a world where all such useless lowlifes are sent to a remote planet in outer space and quarantined there.
Called and asked about my home insurance, saying it was due to renew shortly. It isn't and they hung up straight away when I said that.
They keep ringing in the morning always nuisance calls
this number is continuinglyringing our number 3/4 times a day but never anyone on the line it is annoying not knowing why they ring and the other thing my wife is ill and could do without all these phonecalls
I think this is probably around the third time they've called today, complete silence every time I answer. I decided to stay on the phone this time, there was definitely a bit of static on the other end like someone might have been there. Decided to whistle down the phone in an eerie tune just to dissuade them if it really was a person on the other end, though I doubt it. They hung up shortly after.
