We were out and the phone went onto voicemail. Long drawn out message requesting the recipient to hold the line. They must be using bulk dialing software and picking up when they see someone answer. We have caller display and never pick up a call we don't recognise.
phone rang once before I answered about 10 am. - nobody spoke.

So-called government recycling scheme for windows. I'm on TPS and when I asked for the name of the company so I can report them for breaking the law they hung up. Reported to TPS and blocked on my phone.

They answer phone asking if they can speak to Mrs something or other never the person they are calling, just like other cold callers. Who are these people? I have been inundated with such calls, something should be done to stop these people.
I am a member of TPS. but still get inundated with calls at all times of day and evening. This number has called before ,who are they and how do they get my number?

Calls mid morning. We are registered with the TPS so how does this happen?
March 8th; taken on landline answerphone. Did not pick up. Heard brief muffled speaking including the word "agent" and classical music continuing. Terminated call by unplugging phone line from terminal box. Have had similar calls to those described by your contributors in the past. Real Pest!

This left classical piano music on our answer machine, and would have continued indefinitely. An utter pest.
