Just had the second call from this number in 24 hours. Telling me they were from Windows because a virus is on my computer. I won't repeat on here what I said to him.
Today they have called me saying they are from visa and trying to issue me a £200 refund that had been declined... they then asked me to tell them who I currently bank with... I said that if they are calling from visa then they would know this and hung up.
Received a call this morning from an Asian sounding guy saying he was from the TPS, trying to "give away the device" to block unwanted calls and you only had to pay P&P. Suffice to say - I put the phone down
Received a call from 01467646309; said he was from TPS and wanted to send me a call-blocking device so that I can block unwanted calls from overseas. He knew the first 4 number from one of my bank cards and the date of expiry, but wanted the remaining numbers, so that I can delete unwanted calls. I told him that it might be useful to delete HIS calls - and I put the 'phone down!
Got two missed calls from them .so glad i checked on here .so can now delete after reading above comments

Received a call from an Asian sounding lady called Carol Wilson. Said she was from the TPS to which I replied: " I've heard this scam before so I am going to block you".
Was told that they were calling from Microsoft about my computer, replied that I do not own a computer, the telephone operator was dumbstruck, took a few seconds to hang up. Might string along further next time

It is a waste of time reporting these calls ot Ofcom. They are a waste of space.
Recieved one call a day from this number for the last 3 days. I answered listened for a few seconds then hung up. Hopefully they will stop soon enough. My home number is rarely given out or used. So anyone on there doesn't know me or deal with me
after numerous unwanted calls from this number - claiming to be windows - I said I have no problem as I actually work for windows (I don't) but never has a call been so abruptly ended
From tps - asking me to verify stuff rang me from 01467646309 but gave me 02035827342 to ring back. i explained i had taken a call from the 02035827342 number last month and it was windows. when i questioned him, he said oh sorry it is 02035827347!!
Called numerous times by this number - clearly a scam as they claim ( in broken English) to be from Windows or laughingly the telephone preference service.When they ask to spell my name I tell them I am Mr M Mouse.They are an absolute effing nuisance and personally I would like them hung from a lamppost like Mussolini!
Had numerous calls from 0146764309 and 001883709532. All have been foreign poss.Indian saying everything from computer viruses to B.T. ONE DAY I HAD 8 SEPERATE CALLS all asking for differe t bits of personal information. I wish there was a way to block these calls!

Had a call from this number this morning about a error on my computer that I didn't have with me as it was in work,they said they had a refund for me .They wanted my bank details to put it in my account I said you already had them they wanted me to put my computer on so they put the refund in my account .So I told them that I would put my computer on which I didn't have because it was in work they said that they could see my computer from there place but I said nothing was happening on my screen ( they couldn't see anything because it was in work but I was leading them on ) I said they could have the refund them selfs because I didn't want it .I wasn't given them my details to them.i didn't get any more calls from them for 8 months but they start again so now I just put the phone down but when they phone again am going to do what I done last time so I can get some peace again
I understand that overseas calls can't be controlled, but many now seem to use UK call hubs which should surely be under UK law and so able to be stopped?
