i was charged 115euro for 3 calls to this number. Each call lasted 10 mins 10 secs each. i didnt no make the 3 call. what can i do about this?
Apparently while this is advertised as 'Sky Customer Services - call 159 099 9907' it is not affiliated to Sky. Although - as you'll see - if you call it you will get through to them - and pay through the nose for the pleasure of doing so!
How Sky can let this continue is beyond me. Perhaps legally they can't do anything about it. However, if SKY would make a clearly visible phone number available on their own website, this wouldn't be an issue. But it would seem that in an effort to keep people off the phones (unless it's to sell another product) Sky don't much care about the customers who are having difficulty with the service or product already bought and for the person who can't get anyone on the end of the phone to help them!!! If providers were better at looking after their customers, rip off's like this wouldn't occur.
Allegedly I called this number twice last month - € 33.34 was charged to my account!
I''ve googled the number several times and did see that one user had said it was a Sky connection call charge - I did call Sky.
I found this number on the Sky website so I am assuming they have full knowledge of this rip off charge being in place in order to call them.
Needless to say I am disgusted.
