Call from Asian gentleman claiming to be from BT regarding unusual activity on broadband connection. As I had 5 minutes to spare i thought I’d play along with the call for fun but the line then went dead. Total scam, number now blocked.
Called today & claimed to be the technical department of BT - I asked for their no. & they said 02032874596 & I can check it if I like, I said I would & that’s not what’s come up on my phone = the line went dead!!
Scam do not answer or respond if you do answer 'hang up'

A scam, claiming to be BT and if not open PC then will shut down line for 4 weeks and put neighbours at risk of same......hope you can sort out number.
