I received call at 12.58 0n 26/10/17 called me by my name and wanted to speak to me i said if it is a sales call i am not interested

Typical "Pre-recorded" message about upgrading windows in accordance with an "alleged" Government Scheme. If you attempt to call back you get an "Unrecognised-Message" response - hence I believe that it has been illegally "spoofed"!
Had several calls from this number. I never speak to the caller (often shown as Unavailable and International. Usually a gap of 4-5 seconds then it hangs up. Landlines takes more of these calls than "real" calls from friends and family. Amazed that no-one seems able to stop them.
Can anything be done to stop this nuisance caller?
Phone call received 9:02pm they hust hang up when phone answered had this several times from same number as i am supposed to be tps this should not be happening - time phone companies were doing something about this type of call - we have had to pay for my elderly mothers phone to bar these calls - costs each month which is really bad as it is not the customers fault that unscrupulous companies etc do this really becomng fed up & thinking having only a mobile would be better - only one that you can call or text from

Late Saturday night call, boilers on benefits. As we've already taken advantage of the offer (with a large reputable company) not interested, but of course no way of telling them not to bother.

this phone number calls OAP and lets them answer their phone and listen to silence .... it is very upsetting for our old age pensioners who are waiting for any life line from their family .... There should be a law against call centres pestering the over 70's/80's/90's with their drivel
