Have been getting these calls most days for 3 weeks now. For the first week they called around 11, the second week between 3-5pm and this week its evening calls around 7. I'm finding it extremely irritating. I'm assuming its something to do with talk talk as I don't give my landline number to anybody except family.
This numbet rang this evening said that they noticed my number was registered to bt and they would like to buy it back. When I said I was happy with my service provider he said he could offer me some good deals at this point there was a woman cheering in the background of where ever he was calling from and he hung up. Do you know who this is?
I'm a 13 year old boy that picks up a phone to a man calling about a bt package. What was wierd is the fact he actually asked for me and not my mum which got me confused so I just hanged up

Phoned me 3.15 pm , I answered hello and a female with a Yorkshire accent said hello back and then hung up .i rang 1471 to get number and then googled to find out lots of people get this. Hope it doesn't go on too long like some others are getting.
This number rang me at 11.45 am Saturday June 28th 2014. They told me that it was time to renew my contract with BT and would I like to renew it now. I stalled and said that I did not think it was due for renewal, ( I have checked and I have paid my rental etc to March 2015); I gave him a hard time saying I was thinking of changing to TalkTalk and he tried to pressurise me by telling me the extra charges I would incur for BT sport, I said I did not want BT sport, after a bit more hard sell and my obstinacy he very curtly wished me a happy day and rang off. I have checked with BT and they had not rung me.
Phone 3 or 4 times a day, i do not answer but they do not leave messages on ans machine. a real pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number has phoned my house phone on a daily basis, they put the phone down as soon as I answer. Some of the calls recived are at 9pm resulting me to un-plug my house phone. Totally un-acceptible and I would like it to stop.
