I'm based in Worcester and unfortunately had the same issue with this woman. Was falling for it until she went to her 'solicitor' and drew up a tenancy agreement without us even viewing the properly. Luckily thought to google her and came across this! Absolute scum of the earth, people have said they've reported her to the police over 6 months ago why is she still allowed to do it?!

I've had an email with the same details from this name so seems Rosemarie Grant is still working Gumtree...
Rosemarie Grant and her second name Sandra Lewin. She was trying to scam me when I posted an advert on Gumtree. Avoid!!!!!!!!! I was lucky and blocked her straight away. She ( or who it is) uses the same scheme- email with pictures of the flat, saying that she is moving to her new work place ( Coventry ot Tiverton), then her ' solicitor' and then asking for money

i had the same yesterday, shes getting greedy now, asked me for £600 before meeting her. everytime i sent an email i had the response, Post Master Delivery Failure. i knew there was something dodgy about it. i told here i wasnt going to pay £600 to her without meeting her or seeing the property first.

Absolutely heartbroken.
This sick minded human being scammed me into handing over £200 for a property that doesn't exist. After I posted an ad on gumtree she contacted me with pictures and relevant information about a property she has to rent. She sent me a genuine tenancy agreement which is then when I handed over £200 as a holding deposit. She asked for a £500 deposit but luckily at the time I didn't have that smoky of money. She then cancelled the first viewing due to an 'injury at work', (she said she works in a care home and had to move to the West Midlands for a minimum of 5 years) so I re-arranged the viewing for tomorrow, 29th November 2016. I emailed her today to check the viewing was still going ahead after not having contact with her for over a week and surprise surprise, no response. The worst part is she's hasn't just robbed from my partner and I but our unborn child aswell. Whoever is behind this deserves to rot in hell. The police are aware and are tracking them down.

Had the same problem with a woman saying the name rosemarie grant of 688 seahall highway coventry after posting an add on gumtree she asked for my email to be sent to the above number so she could give details of the property and we both agreed on the terms and she sent a genuine looking tennancy agreement for me to pay to be stamped and she offered to pay it aslong as i sent a £25?itunes voucher so i sent an itunes code to her then had no contact for over a week and then seen a post from a diffrent number but the same address and same name it is a complete scam and has been reported to action fraud and police
