This number called today. No-one on the other end when I picked up.
no one on the line. we get this a few times every week.
Just had call from this number: woman with foreign accent saying was from british telecom. told me there was problem with my internet connection. i led her on with my silly old woman act. she told me she was based in london. when i said "oh i used to live there; whereabouts is your office?" she hung up.
given that this appears to be a british landline why cannot somebody (bt?!) do something to block it or identy who is paying the rental and sue them it?
BT never ring you another scam call you even get these calls when you are on. tps

Called in the middle of the day. No-one there when I answered.
Called today lots of heavy breathing before saying he was from BT and wanted to talk about my internet put the phone down

Foreign man claiming to be jack William. (Very obviously not) saying my internet was having issues and would be terminated. Told him I'll call BT myself and check it out

A foreign man called Jeremy rang and said he was from BT and there was a fault with my internet, he then asked me if I had a computer!When he told me to switch it on I said no and told him I thought he and his call were bogus. I then hung up!Paula.
