One call tonight about 8.pm aksed to speak to someone I have never heard of, I told him that person doesn't live here and he said to continue he needed to know my last name. I suggested maybe he should start by telling me who he was. He said he was from a company called Brand Comparison or something. Again he said he couldn't continue with the call unless he had my last name. So I said " Lets not continue with the call then!" And he hung up! Very dodgy.
This is the second time this number has rung. This time a very foreign lady said she was confirming my home number & address for Marks & Spencer. She called me by name. I confirmed nothing, said I was not happy with this & hung up. Should I report this elsewhere?
phoned once i told them i was not interested in the changing phone provider to bt and i hung up,2 minutes later another phone call this time a different person telling me i obviously didn't understand they were trying to save me money once again informed them in no uncertain way i had no interest and i hung up again. once again 2 minutes later the same man phones again and informs me that i should listen to him as its a no obligation call and that he can save me money. At this point inform him that three unwanted phone calls in 10 minutes is more akin to harassment then to no obligation and that i would be calling ofcom and bt to make my complaint the man went silent when i asked for his name he then hung up. i have never known a cold caller to have such arrogance to not only call me three times but to insist he knows better than i do like i am a complete idiot.
Idiot survey scum Phoned me up saying this was not a nuisance call. I immediately hung up. In the space of the next five minutes I was called 10 -15 times. When I finally picked up a guy with an Asian (Indian) accent said "Now I have the pleasure of hanging up on you". These scum should not be allowed, seriously thinking of taking out landline because all you get is these feckin annoying telesales, marketing, survey, ppi, boilers, hearing, accident, computer issues calls. Absolutely sick of them Gave the caller a right mouth full.

This number called today very arrogant Indian or so I thought man I told him the name he said did not live here he got abusive and told me the number he had rang I told him that is not my number but he argued that it was when I told him I should know my own number he hung up it makes me feel like getting my phone dissconected
They try and influence you onto a website. Under no circumstances follow their instructions, In fact all you have to say is "I have no computer" and hang up. The silent calls then follow. BT Should block them but would rather sell you a package to identify the numbers. All wrong!

This number calls reguarly around 5.45pm - no response when phone is answered - absolute pests!! Is there no way that it can be prevented??
Several calls a day. Unwanted calls should be illegal and actionable.
This number called today and would not tell us who they were. definitely a nuisance number they had our daughters name.
Silent call several times a day !
Have been called twice already today and also last week. They ask for the previous occupant and hang up when I tell them that they shouldn't be calling as I'm registered with the telephone preference service.
The phone company we are with ,should investigate this calls to stop them not fare people are having these. Calls
