I got a phone call from this number and the person on the phone said his name was Sandeep the Prince. He offered me a bank transfer of One Million US Dollas, to which I agreed. All he asked for, was my 16 digit card number, expiry date, 3 digit security code and a copy of my signature and driving licence. So now we wait!

On my Android phone (Pixel), this came up as a 'Suspected Spam Caller' - so I left it. I came here and I'm glad to see I was right to do so. I think with the built-in Spam/Nuisance caller database on the default Android phone app, these calls will start to be a thing of the past. I strongly suggest you install the app (works on most modern phones) and it alerts you to suspected spam caller

dig out an old fax machine, draw random scribbles on some paper and feed it through the machine. when half is out at the bottom, stick it to the top as a continual loop. if they want you to call them back, do so from the fax.... :).

These caller types keep wanting you to answer some questions (though they deny it's a survey) all the information they want is so they can sell you answers to OTHER telemarketing companies.
Sometimes they call themselves "UK lifestyle",
IF you are silly enough to answer any or all their questions then you will get plagued by other callers.
Example, One of the questions is "What is the make of your TV", this seems an innocent enough question at first, but wait a few months and you will get a call claiming to be from your tv manufacturer wanting to sell you an extended warranty for said TV.
(Obviously, the call is a scam and the so called warranty is worthless,)
They have been known to get aggressive and threaten to keep harassing you unless you answer the questions. I have had friends forced to change their numbers to escape them.

great comment- as annoying as these calls are sometimes i use them for my own entertainment, have a little chat, ask them for their bank details etc- its easy enough to hang up when you know something is dodgy, the people I feel for are the old/vulnerable who believe the cr*p they are being told, these scammers are criminals and need to be stopped.

first a female English accented woman answers - I understand you had an accident that was not your fault. Is that right? I asked her name of her Company and she hung up.
Next within minutes male voice claiming to be Michael ( African Accent) rang - You have been talking to my colleague and understand you had a no fault accident. I asked him name of his company - He spoke fast to make the name incomprehensible. I asked him tell me date of accident - He said its irrelevant - I told him its relevant as he should have the details and one way for me to confirm if the call is true call. Made him m repeat the call three times.
Eventually he hung up - Have received same call from different numbers same voices.

Someone rang my work from this number. She said that we ordered a magazine and they were ready to send out to us with the invoice. She just wanted to check our address. When i said 'what address have you got' she gave a completely different one and even a different county. When i said 'no sorry thats not our address' she called me a liar and put the phone down. Dont know if they sent the magazine and invoice to the other address?

Dont put up with being called several times. Once they have phoned just block the number. You can do this to any
number even if you dont answer it. On android phones just go to the call log, click on the number and then in the right
hand corner where it says MORE click on this and scroll down to ADD TO BLOCK LIST.
Do this to every number you dont want calling you.
