Very persistent. I put the phone down and don't speak. They keep calling though!
I got a call from this number from someone called David from Homecare saying they are from Domestic and General and wanted to reduce my policies.
I do have appliances covered by D&G but what struck me as odd was when he mentioned I made payments using my Visa card. Nope 👎🏾
He then said he wanted to confirm my new expiry date. I immediately hung up.
The caller said they from Home Care and wanted to reduce our fridge/freezer and washing machine policy payments as we were classed as low risk. I was polite and put phone down luckily I am a bt customer so dialled 1572 to add this number to the blocked list.
Received a phone call from02045711727 on the 14/02/2022. The caller said they from Home Care and wanted to reduce our fridge/freezer and washing machine policy payments as we were classed as low risk. The caller would not stop talking, when asked I told her we did not have a policy covering our appliances the phone suddenly went dead. I would class this has a harassing and scam call.
Had exactly the same, told the caller we didn't have homeserve insurance but she was aghast and advised she wouldn't lie on a recorded call! Asked her the last four digits of the card that we "paid" with last year and she advised she didn't have but that it was a Visa debit that started with a 4!!! I nearly wet myself, laughed at her and she got shirty so told her to f off!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THESE CALLS PLEASE.
Called st 8.16 am. No message left. Blocked
I have just received a call from this number 020 45711727 . Claiming that I have a “Home care insurance” with them and they wanted to reduce my annual “Policy” as today they will be taking out £236 from the Visa card, however, as I have not made any “claims with them last year” they will reduce it to £198 instead and they will take the money now! Asked for my card number beginning with “4”……!!!!! I don’t think so! Told them they were scammers…..
Asked about renewing insurance for freezer and washing machine. Said they were from Homeserve. Somebody called Daniel. Wanted an up to date expiry date on my card beginning with 4 - this is the first number on any Visa card. The caller got really angry when I said this and said he would cancel my policy and hung up!
This number has phoned twice now we have a answer machine if they don't leave a message than I will not answer the phone
