Had two calls today from this number, first time I answered I heard rustling and background noise then they hung up. The second call I did not answer and they did not leave a message. I suspect they only try the scam when a woman answers.

Just called said I won £50 Morrison's vouchers. Asked to confirm my address then wanted to know my age. Said this sounds like a scam. Line went quiet. Music on in the back ground and not very good English. Morons!
Phoned twice today. Number displayed not recognised so I let them go to ansaphone.....then they hang up without leaving any message.
Very rarely get a call on the landline. So, when not sure of caller I answer with 'hello' and then wait for them to respond. No voice but could hear 'movement' - after 15 seconds the caller hung up.
Just called me and line went dead when I answered!
Had 3 calls from this number today to my landline which has a BT callblocker phone. Best £50 we ever spent! They did not state their name when asked to so were automatically blocked. Get a call blocking phone and never ever tell anyone anything about you. When a baddie does get through & they start their spiel I say "who gave you my number" . They usually hang up then. Or I say "we never deal with strangers on the phone goodbye". Try it out.
I had a call to say I had won £50 Tesco’s vouchers and asked what my favourite colour is as it can be wrapped. He was foreign maybe West Indian -knew my name and address. He said I have phoned your BT line is that correct, it was. I asked his name and he said it Gary Crab!!?
Just rang and they wanted to confirm my name and address, scarily they had the corrected details from BT.

asked to speak to previous tenant, I said they moved out 3 years ago and then they hung up.
Had a call from them today. Foreign accent, no idea what nationality, said they were from BT. Asked all sorts of strange questions, which I, unusually stupidly for me, answered, as I have got some dealings with BT at the moment. Then on reflection thought it didn't sound genuine.
Said from Morrisons thanking me for my custom last year...when I said I didn't shop at Morrisons they then said also acting for Tesco. Said I had won £50 voucher and a bottle of wine ...asked if I preferred red or white!!! Also asked what make of washer I had who I had my broadband with and if they had called a land line. They did have my correct name. Stupidly I did answer their questions. Now going over it in my head ....what info did I actually give them. Although no maiden names, pets names, first school etc, thank goodness. Can't believe I got sucked in.
