Try BT Guardian, they will block them, I have never had a ring from "International" calls or withheld calls (which if they answer the questions put to them they will be put through for your desision) Since I had the phones installed! All the others that are not on my memory they ask "do I want to accept.just this once, accept at all times or block them. Even if you mistakenly accept you can still block them.
Has phoned twice today on the land-line.
There was a delay at the start at both times, one time claimed to be some from technical company and the other time Microsoft.
Silent call no answer then they rang off. Tried the number, number unobtainable, why is that?
I've had quite a few calls from this number and other numbers too, all saying they are Microsoft and I have problems with my computer, which they can fix for me!! I've strung them along on many occasions, but have now discovered that if I answer my phone saying, "Good morning/afternoon, Microsoft Helpline, how may I help you?"...........strangely, they hang up immediately!! Now I wonder why that is?!!!!!!!!

Received a call, silence, line went dead, dialed 1471, telecom gave me number 0270354698, dialled it, then telecom came up with "number not recognized - please trey again". How are they able to call from an unrecognized number?
My wife received a call from this number, she answered hello 4 times and was just about to put the phone down thinking it was a wrong number when the caller shouted "shut your bloody mouth!" and put the phone down. What a nice way to start your morning.

just had a phone call from an Indian sounding lady, said she was from Bradford and contacting me re microsoft and problems with my computer.....................I asked how she Knew ..................her reply get lost,shut up,shut up and put the phone down
These idiots keep calling and then it disconnects. I'm answering because I want to string them along once they do finally say something, not me paying for the call.
This number just called me at 8.30am. Was an Indian man telling me that my windows operating system has a problem. I strung him along for a bit and then told him he was a lying, cheating b..... And I don't have a windows computer. He argued with me and told me I did. I told him he was lying again and he then told me to get lost. How does this person know my name that's what I would like to know.
Just got a call from this number...time delay, bad communication...I was usual "helpful" self and after a few minutes was called an "f***ing c**k sucker" and then he hung up on me. Do these dimwits just assume that we are going to give them access to our system ? I have worked with some very silly and gullible people, but I can't see anyone being this gullible...surely ??
I got a call few minutes ago, I said "Hello" and there was no reply. So i hung up. Just to let you guys know, these are marketing calls, (which are dodgy) because they lie to you. How it works is, a computer system calls you randomly, once you say Hello, it connects you to an operator in India. So if you don't hear a response after picking up from any number that calls you. HANG UP
An Asian man called and said about my computer having problems. I said I don't have a computer. He said, you don't have a computer? I said ,no. He said oh my god and hung up.
Like other folk commenting, I'm receiving regular calls, but no one answers. I shall not bother to pick up this number now that I've checked it out.

When I refused to go onto my computer until he had given me his phone number and address he became very abusive
Man with Indian accent phoned, sounded far away with a bit of echo/delay. He said he was "windows systems" and I had an error on my computer. I asked him his location. He said New York. I asked him the time in New York, he said a time that was about 9 hours off New York time. I said that was incorrect, he then tried to tell me my clock was wrong! I hung up.
just phone 5 min ago 24 Th. october saying i have lots of problems with computer asking me to go on my lap top i did not report any problems with my computer so i basically told them to fxxx off im not going to fall for this scam i am glade i hung up and found out about this service
I have just had a call from this number again (3rd time today) claiming to be calling from Microsoft. There is a serious fault with my computer and it needs to be sorted urgently apparently. Anyway I couldn't resist but string him along as curiosity got the better of me. He asked me to get to my computer and press the windows button on my keyboard along with the letter R then asked me to type EVENTVWR (you know where this is going right?) Next I was to click on administrative tools and then......sorry, I hung up at this point. So sick of these calls now! Someone is bound to fall for this awful attempt at accessing your details as its a little
cleverer than spam mail. Beware!
Claiming to be calling from Windows, suggested no proof they were who stated. Said could provide proof, realised wasn't genuine , when informed caller or this they suggested the visited me! Obviously I didn't pass on any info whatsoever and terminated call.
