I received a message from this number at 12.15 last night after a transaction went from my account to Vegan for beginners. They used a botched Evenbrite address Eb SanFransico instead of EB Sanfransisco.
Ignore it. I’ve reported it to the crime squad.

Had a text from CYBG asking to call the bank on 0800 121 4 251 due to a payment needing to be authorised. I checked the number on the web site and it was the same number.I called and a Scotish man answered, he asked me simple questions, sort code ,account no.to verify who I was. He then told me my customer number !!!. He then told me he could not see an issue. Call ended. Next morning thousands missing from account via a direct debit set up externally ?? told to visit branch which I did, the bank refunded the money and locked down everything. DO NOT ANSWER ANY TEXT OR EMAIL safest way is to visit the branch in person. They need to develop an account on / off switch on line to reduce fraud.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, I was asked for account number & sort code & then the long number...I lit was then it hit me...they should not be asking me these questions..so I said no.
He was a Scottish man & after I hung up I rang the bank...it was the same man..??? again he was adamant I gave my numbers to him so he could look into the fraud, which there was no fraud. How are they able to intercept my phone call to the actual bank..??? It’s very worrying they can do this. Scottish accent. A man who is very forceful about me giving him my debit card details. Beware...if your gonna ring your local branch plz use another phone, they have a way to take over your call & insert there selfs & take your call over.

The same nonsense message about unusual activity. I have had a phone call ages ago from Clydesdale about an unusual item on my credit card but they didn't ask any bank details they just told me what it was and asked me to confirm I had made that payment so I would never ever reply to anything on Internet

This is a genuine Yorkshire/Clydesdale Bank Number. It is on both their websites. I had a text to call yesterday saying they have noticed possible fraudulent activity on my account. Checked my account and there was something wrong. Someone has tried using my details!
