Lady called me and told she is from SBI and told system is not showing the details .. Hence she would call in some time.. I thought it is fake call to collect the DATA

I got a call today but no one was responding from that side and call droped within 3-4 sec...
I too received a call from this number stating that theyare from SBI home loans. They took all my details and finally said the system is unable to accept my application and that I would need to visit the nearest SBI branch instead. Basically it was a ploy to collect data from me, but I do not know for what.
