Heavy breathing
I really have had enough of these calls. Why doesnt BT intercept them at source as we get enough of them. I just hang up with no reason.
I got called by this number and a very brief automated "Please die" was directed at me before they hung up. Weird.
Being pestered by this caller for last 3 days early morning lunchtime evening. How can we stop thi nuisance ?
Got call from this number when I answered just hung up
Similar to others, Indian-sounding lady, from a 'computer service centre'. Unfortunately she then started laughing, and couldn't even read her own script. The spammers must be scrapng the barrel if they can't even get people to read a simple script.
I had a call this morning from a computer company, they said, over the weekend a virus had been loaded down onto my computer through the internet, he asked me to switch on my computer, I said that is funny because my computer is not working and is being fixed by the menders and upgraded, he did not know then what to say, it all went quiet.
I have 2 computers, one is being repaired. They knew my name and postcode, but it was easy to rid of them on this instance, I will use this tack again.
Similar experience to others. When phone answered a female Asian sounding voice, apparently struggling to read a script, claimed to be from computer support and said the call was about my Windows computer. When I questioned what made her think I had a Windows computer, she put the phone down.
Received a call from this number today. The caller claimed to be from Microsoft and had called to alert me about viruses/spam/trojans originating from my computer. They wanted me to provide them with remote access to said computer so that they could "clean it"! Utter rubbish, this was clearly a blatant attempt to slave my machine for their own nefarious purposes so I hung up.
Friends have reported receiving similar calls, fortunately they reacted in the same manner

Keep ringing my 94 year old father, who just gets annoyed and shouts at them. Now have True Call call blocker installed, so at least it saves his blood pressure.

Keep getting calls from this number with silence then an automated voice says thank you and hangs up
This morning at 9.30am I received a call from a Foreign voiced woman saying she was from the Microsoft help centre and I have a problem with my windows.... I said I use apple not Microsoft. She hung up on me! How rude!! ( I actually do have a Microsoft computer ;-))
Asian woman claiming to be from Computer Tech Dept of Windows. When asked where she was calling from her answer was 100 Victoria St SW1E 5JL (which is Microsoft UK). Unfortunately I chuckled and she took offence to that. She accused me of laughing and hung up! Obviously working from a list of contacts as my surname was matched to my phone number.
Rwhwn I answered the phone & said hello they said goodbye!
