This number caller an elderly female saying she had money that needed transferring into her bank and the female caller asked the elderly female for her bank details. When they refused to give them the caller hung up
Called asking for Linda Sanatini. When I advised no one here of that name, caller told me she is our finance manager. I told him no, he has the wrong number. He started to tell me he was from Metro something or other so I told him wrong number and hung up.
When they called they stated they were from Sage and not Microsoft as I can see they mentioned from previous comments definitely a red flag.
The person tried to get me to say the word 'Yes', which is a trick that scammers try to do to bill you for phone services with your recorded voice. First he asked if it was me by name, and then, what with the static on the line, said he can barely hear me, and asked if I could hear me. I just hung up. He had a New Jersey accent, so obviously not trustworthy.
who are these people calling from voodoo numbers - they must be stopped.
Caller with heavy foreign accent, prentends to work for "Windows". Says Microsoft received lots of "errors" from my computer and asks me to turn on my computer and he will tell me what to do. No luck for him, it turns out I am a computer expert and didn't fall for this scam. Don't ever give any information of this type to a random guy who calls you out of the blues.
They called claiming to be from Microsoft. They told us we some illegal program. They tried to get my wife to get them in her computer to correct the problem. They have a heavy foreign accent. They work in teams of three or four, passing you around to a supervisor. My wife had lots of questions for them and that is when a new supervisor would come on. They kept applying pressure to accept a computer program to enter and fix the computer problem. My recommendation to anyone receiving a call from them is to play a game with them. Mention the bombs they ask you to built are ready for them to pick up. This might get picked up by NSA surveillance. And if it does, they might get a visit from from security services. Mind you, if that happens, you will probably also get a visit from them. But you can explain easily. Another thing you can say is you are calling the "ICE" police because you think they are illegal emigrants taking jobs from American people. Or just hang up on them. Me, I just as soon have a bit of fun with them.
