Hi , I got a call from same number today , kindly advise \what is this and what they need, and can they harm my phone or something like this ?
someone says, there's nothing she could do about someone else having ordered a new Pixel 4 128GB (999usd) in google store using my account. By that time it wasn't even packed/ handled. Transferred me to another guy. So within 66 minutes I was 50 mins on the hold.
Eventually they didn't stop the delivery and my account was charged with -1095 USD.
And yes, it's Google Customer Care.
I requested a call from a google expert by using the request section located in my google account. After 15 minutes I hung up. The person on the other end said would I mind holding the line. A few minutes later he came back on the phone & asked what my problem was,he then said he was from google 1 & couldn't help me and asked me to hold the line whilst he contacted another department that would help me. Eventually he came back on the phone again and asked for the make of my computer, when I told him he said that he would transfer me to the dept. that deals with my make of computer. He put me on hold for a while. He came back then started waffling. I said "I've been on the line now for 15 minutes & so far have gotten nowhere. He asked if I was in the U.K., I asked where he was , he replied the Philipines, I don't know if this is a scam number but I do know that I made the initial contact through my google account, & all the way through the process I felt very uneasy.
