It seems this is an Indian fraudster who has access to talk talk's customer account database. Its worrying that talk talk has such poor control over it's customer details. Not a surprise when they are trying to save money in using cheap overseas labour, rather than focus on customer service quality.
Scam about Internet, don't pick up
Typical scam call, could barely speak English and claimed to be from Talk Talk and I had a problem with my internet connection.

Claiming to be from TalkTalk. They have names and account numbers and claim to want to sort out an error on the broadband. It's a scam to get you on to a website which will give access to your computer. We recently left TalkTalk so knew it was a load of rubbish!
Caller claimed to be from coca cola headdquaters in usa, they told me i had won £8000 and asked for my bank details
they gave me a number to call and it went on to an indian person
Talk Talk scam call. They have phoned my landline a number of times!
Phoned landline today. My phone is now set to block
It was a gentleman of Indian descent telling me he was from Talk Talk and it was concerning my internet. Now, I am with Talk Talk but I was so annoyed as I work nights and they kept ringing back whenever the ansaphone kicked in, that I put the phone down on him. If its that important they can mail me. 10/10/15 11.30 am.
The line was silent for about 30 secs. & then they hung up!
Rang my landline and when I picked up they hung up
