I just received a phone call from this number but since I did not recognize the phone number I Googled the number and found it was a scam and could cause me big troubles if I fell for this line that these people have. Fortunately I was able to call me credit card company and report the charge for their service. Also called the FCC to report this scam. I also called Dell to have them 'clean up' any suspicious programs/software that was installed on my computer the day they called. These people continue to call using different phone numbers. I block any phone numbers that I do not recognize.

The posted a fake screen that said i was hacked by a site on my computer and said to call their microsoft # to stop and investigate the hacking. They got into my computer useing fake Microsoft screens that looked authentic. They then came to the sell of 3 years of protection for $400 and lifetime protection for my computer for $700. All thru fake Microsoft passwording and details. Very smooth. They asked to "Add" family members and for my husbands phone number..i knew then it was a scam and said NO. The man then got nervous and aggressive. Indian sounding man. BUMMER He took over then and started movig my mouse and jacking my computer. Super scary. Really BAD Fraud.

I didn't answer this time, but several years ago my computer was hacked by this scam. The number doesn't show as a scam. It should.

I just got a called this morning, around 9:29 PT. Sounded like a asian woman, she stated my name and a confuse situation about my Microsoft account? I just told them that you got the wrong number and hang up.

They say that it is Microsoft tech support. It appears they operate from India. When I had a chat on Microsft site, I was asked to give my number for call back and within a minute the call back was received from India. I WONDER WHETHER IT IS REALLY A SCAMOR GENUINE. I think Microsft should look into this matter and clarify to remove all doubts and worries. If it is Microsoft number I M happy to say that the service appears to be good.

So I called 1 888 468 0350 which I found on a google search at this http://onsitetechshop.com/product-category/microsoft/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw0a7YBRDnARIsAJgsF3OCK-fiz4wp5vLnjmUMm8mVe8q7Eq-UGx3VJmaOK_XLeM_o_74l3v0aAvb2EALw_wcB They claim to be a legitimate Microsoft support shop. They did not ask for money, but referred me to the 1 800 642 7676. The person I spoke to at the 1 800 642 7676 claimed the other was a scam. They did take control of my computer. What do I do now?

Everytime I try to call Microsoft support, I get someone that says they are from Microsoft . I find out later that Google says it is a Microsoft Scam , This is the fourth time this has happened . I am getting tired of requesting a new Credit Card and losing money. I called the Microsoft Store in the Florida Mall for a valid phone number for Microsoft. I was given the number I am reporting. When I questioned the lady about what Google reported that this is a Microsoft scam she ask if I had a case number? The number I was given is Case Number : 1426622399, she then told me I was right and ask if she could transfer me to tech support a man that said his name is Paul, in Tech Support when I questioned him on the phone number , Paul told that is the right number. [1-800-642-7676], When I continued to question him he said that was the number for the Microsoft Hotline, I informed him I was told by who I thought was Microsoft said they didn't have any outside Tech Support , Paul then said it was the telephone number for Tech Support, I ask which one is it the Hotline or Tech Support he hesitated with a reply so I hung up. He wanted to take control of my computer. The number at the Florida Mall , Microsoft Store [allegedly] is; 1-407-563-3850, Could this number also be a front for their scam? I would just like a number for Microsoft that isn't a scam. I hope this information helps. Jerry Dixon

Got a call from woman with thick Indian accent asking for someone I didn't understand the name. I called the number back. Told them not to call my number had a legit sounding Microsoft IVR system and he kept saying he record the notes and they wouldn't call back. I told them I looked up this number and know they are a scam without looking them up really until now for sure. Then hung after telling them don't call me again!

I have MS Office 365 on a monthly charge. Yours sounds like you have a yearly (or bi-yearly) subscription for Office 365. Same phone number, which is Microsoft.
